GroceryAisleFinder ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Location Data: When you grant permission, we use your approximate location (zip code) to find nearby grocery stores. Your precise coordinates are never stored on our servers.
Shopping Lists: Your grocery lists, purchase history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
Feedback: If you submit a feature request or bug report through the app, your message and basic device information (app version, iOS version, device model) are sent to our server. No personal identifiers are collected.
Kroger API: We query the Kroger Product API to retrieve aisle locations, prices, and product information for your selected store. Your search queries are sent to Kroger's servers to fulfill product lookups. Kroger's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
Apple Services: The app uses Apple's notification system for restock reminders and Apple's location services. Apple's privacy policy applies to their services.
All shopping lists, purchase history, cached prices, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is included in your device backups and can be deleted by removing the app.
If you enable notifications, the app sends local reminders about items you may need to restock. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through external push notification services.
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and does not contain any age-restricted content.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
